that is why I no longer speculate
enough people have said "enough"
and have awakened to newer applications of reality--
how far it goes is not for us to know--
we mark our mile then say "no more"
let others pass as we linger at our own door
one more minute in the deep violet twilight
befor sitting to rest at last in the mild night air
