jokers always think themselves wise

as some of the wise stumble in faux humility

I've heard tell some of the Apostles had to reincarnate

into less exalted lives to atone for aspects of Pride

that couldn't help but form from contact with such

utterly transcendent power as the stuff the Christ the Avatar

the whatever inadequate human word we have for this Savior One

so at least be wise enough not to joke

(it will be on you after all) and paradoxically then you may

see the humor in it...
