awaiting a terrible unforgiving judgement
I don't know how you feel
but for me
I've awaited this my whole life
a terrible deliverance
an awful reckoning where we see our own faces clearly for once
we throng that valley
and know nothing but its horror
until what Light shines
and what awful morning dawns for humanity and creation itself
a gleaming eternal sun
glittering off the surface
of that lop-sided crown of being
called Man...
