who but God knows if this is the last summer of them all?


I'll see the earth at a different stage

paying for my own sins as one of my own descendants


but that time is yet to be

and there is so much that can happen on the way


reckoning and absolution

a change of state that will do away with states


the last sunset belongs to the earth

the only sunrise belongs to all


beyond any human measure...
