this is Life

this is the Plan


none of the spiritual stuff I write

is at variance with these periodic rages


that are braided together so tightly

you can't destroy the knot without


ruining both aspects...

it is ours to suffer shamelessly


and find in that the grace and mercy and peace

that obeys the implacable demands of this heartless Almighty


vanity and disgust on every level

and pain at the hands of Love


and no joy but detachment and emptiness....
