enough of god


if we are righteous enough

our own acts will be proof and reward


and as for my beef with God

well I'm sure I'll regret every self-hatred


projected as blasphemy but seeing all good effort

to make amendments reduced to nothing


then God better get over Himself and finally show

the love He denies us


let God beg our forgiveness

He'd be fortunate to learn we'd forgive Him


as we forgive our own enemies

or not depending on the enemy


but we are all at sufferance and that includes our so-called "Lawd"
