it's said when you give love

and get hate and injury in return

it's because you are dealing with a projection of yourself

not always

often someone may overstep their own bounds

and intrude on your path and do that harm

it's not always about you

and your projections

which may just reinforce the essential selfishness

inherent in our sense of identity

in those messy tangles

trying to make 'me' 'we'

trying to get past our separate existences

to get to our single essence...
