except to the maniacs of the Lord
who cherry-pick through Scripture
to support their own madness
and bloodlust--
what charity for these sick dangerous lost ones
but charity beyond human comprehension?
the very charity they deny to all--including themselves?
not to know this for certain--
to just let it be and tend
to the afflicted you happen upon
is itself an act of charity--
charity we deny ourselves--
charity beyond our comprehension--
