how refreshing to expel

the poisons from your being

in a healthy outburst of rage


of course I have these words

to try and reach others

in similar straits


and show we all are at sufferance

but some of the others

with no art or spirituality to temper them


go off to the harm of others

(and cop or criminal makes no difference

all are at the mercy of their hatreds)


and people actually wonder why

I'm so eager to (as they say) shuffle off this mortal coil?
