I'm never sure of all the unknown eyes
reading and judging these words
and constructing an image
whose mouth could accommodate these glyphs
but even those I meet face to face
have no idea who I really am
and I look at them and see
whatever it is they show to me
what anonymous mass we hide within
provides the context for our participations
we're one in our troubles but alone
in the safety of our homes
free to imagine whatever we want
revealing truths or constructing unknown lies....
