the sky is blue and so am I

no one needs to be lectured on how they're going to die

we're all striving toward home and that's no lie

they don't my ignorance to presuppose why

we'll all meet on God's golden shore

or wind up in the Outer Darkness raving and pure

I don't want to go to this and wish likewise for you

but God has the last word when all is through

learn it learn it learn it now

or don't say you weren't warned anyhow

we all walk with a wisdom of our own

and that's the reason we're so alone....
