be cautious

of the well-meaning busybody

who claims to know what's good for you--

he is belittled by his family

and mocked by his friends--

he needs to have control of something

and will manipulate laws to doing so

(so much easier than teaching a dog to heel)

yes he wants to be loved

but loved alone--

everyone else can find their own

(if he'll let them)

you're having a beer

you're ogling women

you dare have fun

while I'm in the world

what the hell is wrong with you?

you want God to split your lip?

you insulted me!

you insulted me!

I'm going to make your life

a 24-frame a second grief--

no it's too late to apologize--

hmmm--well maybe if you step behind this shed--

there

don't you feel reborn now that you've repented?

you've shown good judgement

by my blessed rod God is good--

and all this while God weeps in his heaven--

His plan ruined yet again--

yes by all means of this one you'd be wise

to be cautious
