maybe the street-corner cranks were right
about apocalypse and dread
and so what if they are?
I'm not with the government
or the military
I and mine have no place on their lists
for who will live
and who will die to keep the race going
as they wall themselves into mountains
that will be their tomb as their entrances lie
at the bottom of new seas...ha HA!
