but for approach of departure
I have no anxiety about the world
it will always be a hard way
on a beautiful but cruelly appointed earth
it will always be a painful love that binds us
it will always be sin to be saved
and the pressure to live to choose to endure
will never lessen...will never cease...
so the content of our being
will always be loves abused and hurt
despite all good intentions and so will hates
that consume and control and that no prayer dissipates
and what comes after this world? who remembers?
there's the only anxiety before departure...
