it takes an earthly lifetime

to realize no one's story is different

than anyone else's...


don't be dazzled by the surface manifestations

your bubble of a world is for you

what the previous bubbles were to your forefathers


oh the story of earth is always the same

and we either die off with it

or earn our own transcendence...


and either way the pain of leaving

all we thought we loved

is just the yearning of ignorant hearts


who will learn (if these hearts let it be)

that all there is is never lost...
