but the beginning is frightening
I wish I could stopping thinking
about where this way leads
even if I knew and even if I could do
anything about my mode of conveyance
what destination in this world would be
anyplace different than what I've known?
different languages different beliefs
different customs or rules of conduct
all the different races of people
so what? I'm not dealing with another species
I know very well my heart their heart or yours
whatever ending pries open a beginning
