people take it easy
under their own sense of security
they know the deal
and if no one's bothering them
it's because they did nothing to
piss the powers-that-be off
but let them become complacent
and that arrangement will turn on a dime
"who me? I ain't done nothing"
"yes you did...you lived...
and sold out your freedom"
be a victim if you must
but know it didn't matter to the masters
who rely on your vanity and your fear...
