we sweat and struggle

and wonder if there's such a thing

as grace


why is everyone else sailing along

and we get snagged on every rock in the reef?

well who says everyone else is sailing along?


why doesn't the world work for us?

well who says it works for everyone else?

grace may be available to those


who believe and trust in it

but why are we denied it?

are we denied it? maybe it would be there for us


if we stopped sweating and wondering

if there's such a thing as grace....
