it's not your imagination--
a new age is upon us for sure!
just look at the frightened hateful reaction
to this long-in-coming reality!
just look at the ravening reactionaries who think
they can stop God' ever-morphing creation
by trying block hamper control and crush down
every freedom of the soul--
oh the hell that is being unleashed at this--for this--time--
oh the misery sad violent fools will cause themselves
and others--and in the name of the very God
they think they are adoring--and the very plan
they are foiling in their absolute fear of life!
and who pity those of us suffering enough
under the common law binding us all--
suffering enough in our tiny private universes?
a new age is upon us? a new age is already here--
trust your instincts
and don't be swayed by your own ignorant imagination!
the world is burning as we all climb our Jacob's ladders--
flames hot on our ascending heels
scorching our soles--as it were--
