I truly believed in repentance and grace--
And now--as we embark on a new epoch
Here I am watching all I am
Drain into all I'm not--
And God--the original 'blame-the-victim'
Tough lover laughs while stirring
Blood into my ashes--
Raising me again to be harmed--
