people eventually learn to accept
their defeat in trying to read the signs right
follow your heart follow your destiny
so says some ignorant teaching
but put it into practice and suffer the many turns
that a thorny path offers...
oh Lord my God I did what I was told
I did what I was taught
and some silent voice impresses itself
on your downfall I know ye not
well thanks a load...we're commanded to do
our best and our best is never good enough
and people learn to accept the 'no-win' proposition
of living by the rules of this 'loving' tyrant....
