I made my own
and only hell
I did it alone
and I know it well
though aspiration
to right was meant
stagnation
subsumed purpose spent
what power vanity gave
to allow me to misuse it
until "he who would save
his life must lose it"
now if I want out of all this
can I start building an exit?
