I wish it were my imagination

but what I see now exactly what is


and it's not the childish faith

in some bogus human-projected religion


and it's far beyond the cosmic vasts

pulsating with black holes and stars


it is...as has been put...childhood's end

and each of us imprint those energies


I wish it were my imagination

but no...every force exerts

an equal and opposite force (as we know Newt)


and we have no control or power

beyond joining with the processes

or abstaining and being consumed in the dross....
