yes I'm aware hurling fire and brimstone

is an assault from one who cannot process...

who cannot love...who cannot live...

so this turning from the human communion of suffering


that unites us in our common ineffable pains...

I'm not strong enough to bless or forgive these ones

I failed in my own effort to understand and transcend

but minus the brimstone...fire does renew
