temptations have their work cut out for them
as far as I'm concerned
all the things that would dangle before me
trying to draw me in indiscretion or worse
now has no power but to show its foolishness
and I can nod wisely and dismiss them
that draw me before with no protection fro me
but a snide awareness too weak to resist...
