I'm recovering my sense of humor
if only for preservation's sake
all the tragedies
all the comedy
Syria murders it's own people with gas
Putin tries bare-chested to revive the Cold War
(Jesus...reactionaries everywhere
thinking that they can stop time
and countermand God's own unstoppable processes)
more maniacs going off murdering every sad fool
unlucky enough to just be there
and as if that weren't enough
a clown terrorizes a town in the U.K.
if it weren't so tragic
it would be funny
but sadly I feel with my brain
and think with my heart
