we all face this horrible condition

we all endure this situation of Life As It Is


and if we believe that surrender to the hard cold fact

delivers us from our horror and our pain of love


then what difference if we believe oblivion awaits

the closing of our eyes?


those who believe such will receive such

and those who believe Love redeems


will receive Love unto eternity

truly is the One merciful


onto life or onto death the One will award

that for which we've strived
