God's Plan is too vast and heartless

for us to concern ourselves with it any longer...


if love and forgiveness never satisfy the One's vengeance

then let Him rage on His power-crazed throne


we will concern ourselves will mercy and grace

we will do what's right as best we can


and do it for love of all our souls

and not some petulant reward of life or death


let God and all power concepts be gone

we've suffered enough of their delusional existence


if the belly aches feed it

if the heart aches salve it with grace


if nothing we do matters then it doesn't matter what we do

better to do right and live than thrist for dominance and die parched...
