hopelessness only arises when one stops

to think about one's situation


be given a moment to think things through

and one's given a moment to despair


yes it gets weary yes it seems endless

yes it is nothing one intended it to be


but when one's entire past started a mere instant ago

the door closes behind and the only direction is forward...
