only in this world


curse God all you want

tell Him He's a vicious unforgiving scumbag


but He is King...He will not be mocked...

and no matter what what contrition show

no matter how many lessons you've learned

no matter how much love and grace and mercy

and forgiveness you show

it won't matter


God doesn't care about what he has preached

He will not be mocked

and He'll make you suffer to no end and no relief


a bag full of quarters

a purse full of dimes

will buy you this hard knowledge


and you'll ever wonder why you tried...
