oh I'll never be the one to say I told you so


let the crippled cranks of pathetic prophecy

feel empowered by our horrors


their insanity is their protection

as our sanity is our empowerment


and even then who can say

which is which?


is insanity freedom to the mystic realms?

is sanity the kiss of death to divine participation?


I feel the heat either way

all of us do likewise


it is not in our control to do anything

but surrender and accept what next wave of mayhem


that passes for life in the earth...and that has told you so...
