who do we follow

the beast or the soul


each one leading us

down some fatal black hole


the beast is content

to gnaw on his prey


while the soul imagines

refinements in some safe forever


I don't know which

template is worse


each one is true

and each one is false


so follow yourself

blameless to the end of your days
