and those who attest to the success

of their visualizations

sometimes give praise for achieving

tiny accomplishments

those far more damaged than they

can manage


visualize all you may

think positively all you want

sometimes hope is hope

for the wrong thing

and you cannot evade loss

or anticipate gain


forgive me for raining on your technique

but sometimes the One you think

you're obeying will show you

in difficulty and dislocation

how out of alignment you are

take great care about desiring what you want


it may not be what you asked for...
