the solar eclipse in Scorpio

initiating this new dispensation

of a changed world

a pivoting in history

that will also pass away

once it has happened


is upon us

and we shrug and stumble on

as if the stars had an immediate effect

on everything we do

even if they did

what effect on our consequences?


whatever happens for all our participation

still happens beyond our control...
