...in the hopes that today's sky blast
is not the first volley
in some cosmic endgame
and that you will find truth
in all happenings
despite "official" silences...
even if that truth is as unknowable
as any 'what-will-happen-next?'
(some kind of miracle there were no fatalities)
and that despite death's eventual claim on us
you also will be allowed
to meet your own mortality
with as much grace and dignity
than the heartless heavens will allow...
