people who praise art are fakers...


when every act of every soul

adds a stroke to the masterpiece

or another line to the Grand Poem...


did ancient Aztecs create such

beautiful pottery knowing that

thousands of years hence

some rich slobs would pay out


outrageous sums to put these works of art

on their coffee tables (and bust illegal maids

for denting them when they dust...dishonoring

their own ancestors?) function and expression


were one to them...as it isn't for us nowadays...

beauty is a function of art...and those who praise the surface

and those who manufacture just surface...


are fakers...are swindlers...are to be made to be

ashamed and denounced...


so says this faker...who tried so hard to be pure

and wound up another one angry that no one pays fair...
