dark forces have always prowled the earth


but someone must have organized them

they've never been so powerful

they've never been so...how shall we say...demanding




you could tell them the sun exists

and they should look up to see

and they'll say it's propaganda


dark forces forces are everywhere


in everything and everyone

(even you...even me...)


and they won't stop until they fall again

to the unmanifest Absolute Reality


and they disappear into the nothingness

with their pathological hubris


while the rest of us detached

mourn in no emotional flurry of hurt


the loss absorbed into the Ineffable

which will relieve us of ourselves...
