Abraham Lincoln once said

something to the effect that

you should give someone power

it would show that person's character

in the way that power was used


guess that's off the table


people seem to think power

is only for subjugation and destruction

for dominance over a pile of ruins


and not one can imagine the good

that could be done with that power
