your work ties you to your destiny
and suddenly you remember
what it is you had to do here
(or at least accept that this is so...)
it took a lifetime of shames and wastes
to draw me to this common grief
of wishing I'd awakened sooner to this destiny
when I was younger and what difference
it would have made....
