I found myself outside the circle again
it closed while I contemplated my past
and was shamed to see how much was my own doing
(not to give a pass to those went out of their way
to cause harm with complete self-satisfaction...
trouble comes to all but woe to the one who brings it...
so I'll have to watch out for my own glee)
but I must admit this new view shows me more
than my previous stances
opens my heart and cleanses my ego...
and as I feel around the circumference
all I have to remember is to not make too much of it
else I wind up vain and stupid again with yet
more circles to close from which I must free myself....
