people think they call their own shots
they think they are powers unto themselves
and such idiocy perpetuates the world
let them them think they follow a clear inner voice
or think they bring forth the Kingdom within...
they only walk with a wisdom of their own
they ruin themselves and because of our Oneness
they ruin the rest of us as well
though all of us suffer this delusion in some measure...
we're expected to act in accord with our consciences
so some of us rise...a little...and most of us fall
grievously because we are connected in our essence
and where one goes wrong all of us suffer
but where one goes right all of us still suffer...
