is what we've earned


the hell of earth

is where we burn


the hell of earth

is a fire by which we see


our illusions celebrated

as if they were divine mysteries


but the hell of earth

is only so because we make it thus


the light of the hell of earth

is the light in which we see again


the darkness we've created

lit like a glowing candle at its end
