suicidal maniacs take others down

with them into the grave


wild animals disguised as humans

ravage the streets


those that rule still hold the keys to the kingdom

and withhold entrance to others


and so many just wring their hands at the injustices

and suffer from battered compassion


lift a hand against such evils

and you yourself are culpable


we are all involved in these daily murders

and worsen our involvement with the trite wisdom


that this is the world

and the world is unfixable
