no one means any harm


it just comes out that way...

the helping hand


that is poor disguise for vanity...

the hidden pride in every good deed...


but if someone else is being helped

then what does this self-absorbed reflection matter?


good will come from its opposite

and in the most unexpected ways


whatever is on us as our responsibility

there is a Greater Power that governs the action


and that is all that can be said...the rest is speculation

that we drive us to distraction


whatever good we may mean....
