I've conjured up the majesty of souls
who preceded me into the darkness
they bid me to rest assured
it's the same shit in the spirit realms
as it is in the earth where you forged
your bullshit chains of illusion
but it's harder to undo
what with reviewing every mistake
and seeing for yourself where
you screwed yourself
even as some kind of prompting
made you pause and wonder
and oh how you'll kick yourself
when you see how close you came to getting it right....
