IT'S ALL LIKE THE PROPHETS SAID

the reactor in Japan

is still leaking its tanks

now all the western coast of America

is saturated with radiation


you eat the glowing fish

and wonder why you're nauseous

you read a newspaper at night

without turning on the light


your forehead shining like a mystic's vision

and with it the enervation of body


and not one word in the mainstream media

not one word to tell you why you're dying

the kingdoms of the world won't mind a few thousand dying

so they may keep their power-mad grip on the world
