you have none but your own counsel
no love to relieve you
no forgiveness for every misstep
not even the love of some imaginary god
to absolve you of your own fault
and release from your sojourn won't be any escape
death will release from the conditions of this life
but you'll still be you and your struggles will remain
here in the eternal here and now of the Only Reality
oh do not think in terms of this only lifetime as this identity
it's a phase a stopover a pit stop
on the way to a reunion it will be up to you to attain
this is the last thing we re-learn in each earthly life
where we have nothing but our own minds to attain this enlightenment....
