ogle the truth and commit your defenses
make an excuse for where you were
you saw it all
but deny any proximity
you were just having a smoke
in the doorway of your prison
and thought "I wonder
what's going on out there"
hell you didn't anything did you?
or so you'd have us believe
a knockout or a purse snatch or a rape
"hell I didn't know nothin'...no not nothin'"
ogle the truth...it will blind you yet
and your defenses will fall as you stumble past this annoyance....
