I don't doubt God turns from us

but if all this God can do is weep with us


and show no mercy or forgive

or deny us the help we need because we need it...

to say our bitterness and pain

blocks the grace that could save us


then truly what shield against evil what love that blesses

what the hell is life worth if this God of Love and Justice

is nothing more than the Top Gangster

"I gave you the gift of life...suck my nuts

or you're finished"


my eternal life is posited on pleasing a monster like this?
