all awareness of error

sorrow and desire

to repent to atone…

but oh no grace to transform

no mercy for failings…

yet no forgiveness in the Judgment?


I begin the trek out of this muddy trench…

and I’ll be trudging still…

long after the concerns of this lifetime have passed…
